A massive thank you to chris for his outstanding work. He is an absolute lifesaver and without a doubt, the best in the business. I had a really tricky issue that other plumbers had struggled with, but he got it sorted with no fuss at all. It truly feels like there's nothing he won't do to help you out. Not only is his work top-notch, but he's also very reasonably priced, which is a rare find these days. A truly professional and trustworthy engineer.

Called a month ago, after finding my cistern was leaking slightly. Phone went to answer machine, I left a VM and also filled out the online form twice via the website and sent a text over the month. I've not had a call, text, or even an email back. I'd be ok even if I had an "I'm sorry"or "too busy" message so that I'm not left in the lurch for a month.

UPDATE: it appears the owner is quick to reply to feedback and reviews but not directly to potential work. I completely appreciate the holiday excuse, It would be more advantageous, though, to set an away voicemail or message on the website saying "any calls would be replied to on return."
On your last point, you had been recommended from a previous job you had completed for another customer. I have two bathrooms, so I put the job as non-urgent. I only stated in contact if you could let me know if you were interested in the work. A polite decline would have been sufficient. I am only reviewing my interaction or lack of, with yourself, about work. Good or bad, I can not speak for others and only give an honest opinion.

Gas boiler broke down on New Years Eve. Chris Harvey responded immediately, and after changing a part in the boiler had the central heating system working within the hour. Excellent service at a fair price and would recommend.

Found this plumber online and he had great reviews so decided to call him to see if he could check a dodgy boiler. Apparently he hurt his back but told us to ring on Sunday, called Sunday and he has a family emergency. Complete waste of time. At least state you didn't want the job instead of having us wait days. Probably a good job we didn't get him, very unprofessional.

When my boiler stopped working I was lucky enough to call Chris first. He fixed it initially, but it was on its last legs and gave up the ghost soon after. Chris then fitted a new boiler and a couple of radiators, and throughout was great to work with. Highly recommended, would give more stars if possible!
